On June 19-21 the city of València would host the XVII Spanish Biometric Conference held together with the VIIth Ibero-American Biometric Meeting, both promoted by the Spanish Biometrical Society. We would love you to join us!

This scientific meeting is organized by the Statistics and Operations Research department and the faculty of Mathematics of the University of València in collaboration with all the public universities of the Comunitat Valenciana: Universitat de València, Universitat Jaume I, Universitat Politècnica de València, Universitat d’Alacant, Universitat Miguel Hernández, as well as the Counseling of Universal Healthcare and Public Health of Generalitat Valenciana. We also count with the priceless help of our colleagues from the Argentine, Central-American and Caribbean, Chilean and Equatorial regions of the International Biometrical Society.

IMPORTANTInstructions for submitting papers

Oral communications: 

  • It must have a maximum duration of 15 minutes. 3 more minutes will be added for questions.
  • It can be presented in Spanish or English although the transparencies will preferably be in English.

Posters:

  • The size should be DIN A0 vertical
  • It should be written preferably in English

 

From today till next 25th April, all the authors whose work has been accepted for the conference, must send their final abstract in .tex or.doc format.

If you have not registered yet, please remember that the deadline for the reduced registration fee ends the 7th April (this Sunday!!!). Also, if you want your work to be included in the book of abstracts, you must register before April 17th.

Equality Unit of the University of Valencia has granted the XVII Spanish Conference and the VII Ibero-American Biometric Meeting an aid to finance the "Florence Nightingale Award" for the best presentation with a gender perspective.
