AWARD RULES
 I PRIZE FOR THE BEST PAPER PRESENTED AT THE III MESVAL CONGRESS 
"Towards an economic model of sustainable city"



1. OBJECT
It is the object of this contest to award the best work presented at the III MESVAL Congress "Towards an economic model of sustainable city" that will take place from 27 to 29 October 2021 in the city of Valencia.

2. PARTICIPANTS
Participants are those researchers enrolled in III MESVAL Congress whose work proposal has been previously accepted by the organizing committee, the final paper has been sent in a timely manner and author(s) have presented it, either face-to-face or online, during the celebration of the congress.

3. PRIZE
A prize consisting of 300 Euros is established for the most valued paper for its contribution to a sustainable economic model of the city.

4. JURY AND EVALUATION CRITERIA
The evaluation of the papers will be carried out by the scientific committee of the congress. The jury will evaluate the works presented according to the following criteria, based on a maximum score of 10 points:

- Objectives and justification of the study (maximum 1 point).
- Novelty of the topic and/or the methodology (maximum 1 point).
- Organization, methodology and scientific rigor (maximum 2 points).
- Contribution of the results to a sustainable economic model of the city (maximum 6 points).


The jury has the power to interpret and resolve any circumstance not foreseen in these rules for a better fulfillment of the objective of the Prize.

5. RESOLUTION OF THE PRIZE
Once the papers have been evaluated, the Jury will submit a proposal for award to the director of the MESVAL chair, who will resolve the winner.

The concession resolution will be made public at the closing ceremony of the III MESVAL Congress on October 29, 2021. It will be communicated to all the participants and will be published, in addition, on the website of the MESVAL chair and in the media that are considered most appropriate.
