Valéncia is unique for many reasons. Here are a few!

300 DAYS OF SUNSHINE
València rewards all visitors with 300 days of sunshine per year and an average annual temperature of almost 18°C. A perfect climate for exploring the city while walking under the blue sky and relaxing on a terrace in the sun.   A simple plan that you will enjoy.

MEDITERRANEAN CUISINE
Even though the paella is an international dish, it is very likely that you have never tasted as good as these ones. So do not leave València without tasting an authentic Valencian Paella and without discovering all that our gastronomy can offer: rice dishes in all kinds of combinations, fish and seafood stews, excellent wines, horchata (with fartons for dipping, of course) and fantastic citrus fruits.

ITS BEACHES
What more could we ask of a city with 300 days of sunshine? Beaches, definitely, with nbue flags to make it even better! As you read it, València has 7 kilometres of beach for you to choose between the fun urban beaches, with all the services and amazing atmosphere, or the peace of the wild beaches of the Albufera Natural Parc.

ITS GREEN SPACES
València Valéncia is full of surprises, for example the one you will find when you stick out over the river  that crosses the city and realise that it is a lush 9-kilometre garden destined for leisure and sports. The old Turia riverbed is a meeting point for Valencians and tourists who have a great time from morning to night. Another of our most representative and fascinating natural areas is the Natural Park of l’Albufera, which is just 10 kilometres away from the centre and where you can  watch a spectacular sunset that can be enjoyed even more in a boat ride.

SYMBOL OF AVANT-GARDE
València is a city in a state of continuous evolution. A city that shows off its historical past but dares to embrace the great constructions of the 21st century. If architecture interests you, pay special attention to Santiago Calatrava’s City of Arts and Sciences, Norman Foster’s Palacio de Congresos and David Chipperfield’s Veles e Vents building. Other avant-garde spaces you must visit are MUVIM, Feria València, Paula de la MÚsica and IVAM.

UNIQUE PLACES
València is much more than what appears in the guidebooks. So take your camera and keep your eyes wide open in order to discover unique places such as Plaza Redonda, the Church Santa Catalina, whose plaza has the narrowest  building in Europe, the frescos in the Church of San Nicolás, the clock that lead to the Church of Santos Juanes, the baptismal font of San Vicente in the parish of San Esteban or the caiman on the door of the Church del Patriarca.
